She says her patients use CBD oil to assist them with getting a better night’s sleep. It seems to especially help in easing the menopause-related disbalance that tends to plague them at night. Regarding this phenomenon, Dr. Dweck comments, “Women wake up with a busy mind and can’t shut down their thoughts.” 

Using CBD in Your Daily Beauty Routine

The beauty industry is experiencing a recent influx of CBD products— including moisturizers, night creams, eye creams, serums, face masks, and various hair products. 

A study conducted in 2014 found that CBD was able to help regulate the oil production of sebaceous glands and lower skin inflammation, thus helping to suppress acne breakouts.4

Dr. Anita Sadaty, obstetrician-gynecologist based in Roslyn, New York says, “In general, anti-aging skin benefits may be related to the anti-inflammatory properties of CBD.” She also claims that topical CBD can be beneficial for eczema, skin rashes, and psoriasis.5
