Transcript of Video:
Dr. Trinh talks side effects of using CBD.
CBD can lower your blood pressure.
If you are planning to have surgery, whether it’s out-patient surgery or in-patient surgery, dental surgery- getting numb for your dental work, CBD, THC or cannabis in general- if you have that on-board your body will require more anesthesia than usual to knock you out. I mean, wouldn’t that be important for your anesthesiologist to know, guys?
So there are two ways to get around that.
The first thing to get around that is to let your surgeon know that you’re taking CBD or medical marijuana so they know to adjust the anesthesia-the dosage needed.
The second thing you can do is just hold the product for about a week. Stop your CBD use a week before your surgery. Stop your medical cannabis a week before the surgery, give it some time to flush out, and then you don’t have to worry about it, right?
With the anesthesia part.
